Gnomies: Where Friendships Are Forged & Grand Stories Are Told

About the Founder
My name is Eli Gabriel Moreno, the founder of Gnomies. From an early age, I embraced leadership roles, earning the nickname "Capt’n" among my friends—a name that has followed me throughout my life. Growing up, I often found myself standing apart due to my independent thinking and vivid imagination, which led to challenges such as bullying and being misunderstood. However, these experiences only fueled my desire to create a space where those who felt like outsiders—especially those who love fantasy, role-playing games, and storytelling—could find belonging.

The Vision Behind Gnomies
My passion for building community started early. In middle school, I founded Nerf Army, a group dedicated to live-action combat with Nerf blasters. In high school, I created Stoneros United, a space for friends to gather and connect. While both were small-scale, they laid the foundation for what would eventually become Gnomies. Over time, this passion evolved into the Gnomenbrigade Adventure Guild, a dedicated community for those who love tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs), live-action role-playing (LARP), and immersive storytelling.

Gnomies was born from my love of creating worlds, fostering camaraderie, and giving people a place where they can be themselves. It is more than a brand—it is a home for those who find joy in adventure, storytelling, and fantasy. Whether through cosplay, roleplay, or gathering around the table for a game, Gnomies is a place where everyone is welcome to express their creativity and share in unforgettable experiences.

What We Do
Gnomies is the culmination of years of dedication to building an inclusive and thriving community. As a seasoned Dungeon Master who has successfully run a three-year-long campaign with my closest friends—along with numerous other games for players of all experience levels—I understand the power of storytelling and shared experiences. Gnomies is dedicated to bringing people together through gaming events, immersive roleplay experiences, and community-driven initiatives.
